I was born and raised in the Arkansas River Valley and lived in New Hampshire for seven years. Needless to say, I’ve spent a lot of time outdoors.
These days, I spend my weekends traipsing around central Arkansas in search of wildlife or trying to make Sports Illustrated-worthy images of local athletes.
My day job is as a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor, but a few years ago, I decided to renew my childhood interest in photography. My intention is to use photography to share the happiness and joy I find when I connect with nature, and occasionally people.
Here is what I get from photographing my favorite subjects:
Sunset reminds me that no matter how long the day, it will end.
Sunrise reminds me that each day is a fresh start.
Wildlife remind me not to take things too seriously.
Humans and their activities can be entertaining, thought provoking, heartwarming, maddening, or any combination of all the above.
Here is one of my favorite quotes about photography:
“It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart, and head.” -Henri Cartier-Bresson
Feel free to browse my store for fine art prints fulfilled by Fine Art America. Each print comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee and is not watermarked.
